International Children’s Chess Games Vojvodina 2005 will be held under patronage of Anatoly Karpov, World Chess Champion and Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.

    Official organizers of International children’s chess games Vojvodina 2005 are:
       - BB Minakva Novi Sad, producer of mineral water
       - Permanent Committee of “Children’s chess Olympiad–World championship”–Karpov-Bjelica
       - MENSA SCG
       - Chess club Novi Sad, the oldest chess club on Balkan

    During that period Novi Sad as a host will gather numerous young chess players with the age of 16, from all over the world. Official confirmation for this competition was send from teams of:

Bulgaria
Russia
Slovakia
Romania
Germany
Macedonia
SCG

    In 9 days of competition 9 rounds will be played by Swiss system.

    Organizers of Games prepared attractive cash prices for best players on Games and for first 20 enrolled teams accommodation and food are free.

    On initiative of Novi Sad chess Club, SCG Chess Federation sent official request to FIDE for rating of this Games, so all scores will be rated and titled according to FIDE regulation.

    Organizers of International Children’s Chess Games will do their best to make Novi Sad – Serbian Athens, good host and give the opportunity for these Games to become tradition in Novi Sad. This will improve chess game among youngest, in Novi Sad as well as in our country.
