International Children’s Chess Games Vojvodina 2007 will be held under patronage of Anatoly Karpov, World Chess Champion and Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.

Official organizers of International children’s chess games Vojvodina 2006 are:
       - Former World Chess Champion Mr. Anatoly Karpov
       - BB Minaqua Novi Sad, producer of mineral water
       - MENSA SCG
       - Novi Sad Chess club

This is the third time that Novi Sad and BB MINAQUA are organizing International Children`s Chess Games Vojvodina 2005, 2006, 2007. Until now participation on the games confirmed teams from following countries: Greece, Moldova, Romania, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, Russia, Poland, Israel, Uganda, South Africa, Germany, Georgia, Turkey, Holand, Denmark, Bulgary, Finland. By the idea of the organizer, this tournament will be organized every year in Novi Sad and it will become traditional competition “International Children's Chess Games”.

 

Coordination and organization of International Children`s Chess Games Vojvodina 2007 was conducted in association with Sport Tournament Association ( www.sptournament.com ).

During that period Novi Sad as a host will gather numerous young chess players with the age of 16, from all over the world. Official confirmation for this competition was send from teams of:

In 9 days of competition 9 rounds will be played by Swiss system.

Organizers of Games prepared attractive cash prices for best players on Games and for first 20 enrolled teams accommodation and food are free.

All the  participants are staying at the 4 star hotel - Hotel Novi Sad. 

Organizers of International Children’s Chess Games will do their best to make Novi Sad – Serbian Athens, good host and give the opportunity for these Games to become tradition in Novi Sad. This will improve chess game among youngest, in Novi Sad as well as in our country.
